Job Title : Electrician Supervisor

Reports To: Facilities Operations Manager

Purpose of Position:
To ensure the effective and efficient management of electrical projects and teams within our company. The Electrician Supervisor leads and guides the electrical team, providing direction and support. They play a crucial role in fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. The Electrician Supervisor ensures that the team follows safety protocols, complies with regulations, and responds promptly to any emergency situations. Effective communication within the team and with other stakeholders is vital. The Electrician Supervisor serves as a liaison between team members, project managers, and other departments.

Special Training Needed:

Journeyman Electrician license required; Master Electrician license preferred

Experience Required:

• Proven experience as an Electrician Supervisor or similar role.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and safety procedures.
• Leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a team.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and specifications.
• Proficient in using electrical testing and measurement equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Physical stamina and agility to work in various environments and conditions.
• Familiarity with relevant tools and equipment used in electrical work.
• OSHA certification is a plus.

Description of Job Duties:

• Oversee and coordinate the daily activities of the electrical team.
• Provide technical guidance and support to electricians on-site.
• Schedule and prioritize electrical projects to meet deadlines.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure work meets quality and safety standards.
• Collaborate with project managers to plan and execute electrical installations.
• Train and mentor electricians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Evaluate electrical systems and recommend upgrades or repairs.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations.
• Manage inventory of electrical materials and equipment.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations and resolve electrical issues.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Environmental Conditions:

Inside: 90% Outside: 10%
