Chipton-Ross is seeking 4 (four) Electromagnetic Effects Engineer for a contract opportunity in Waco, TX.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Electromagnetic Effects (EME) Engineering is responsible for engineering analysis and tasks in the Military and Commercial Aircraft business area. Provides ongoing support for aircraft development and systems modifications including EME requirements definition, design support, integration, and test. Supports broad EME design support areas such as lightning, grounding, bonding, shielding, EMI, EMC, EMP, antenna analyses, cosite and link margin, HIRF, HERF/HERP/HERO, and other aspects of EME as defined by MIL-STD-464.

HARD REQUIREMENTS:
o Competent working knowledge of EME modeling tools such as FEKO, HFSS, Antenna Magus, CST Studio
o Compliance for EME per MIL-STD-464 and MIL-STD-461/RTCA DO-160
o Ability to work on and around aircraft, and able to travel for testing if necessary
o Flexibility to work overtime on occasion

DESIRED REQUIREMENTS:
o Mid-level knowledge of these tools - AutoCAD, MatLab, MathCAD, TeamCenter United
o Good communicator and ability to generate professional EME test procedures/reports
o Competent in standard MS Office software tools (Excel, Word, etc)
o Strong background in one or more of the following areasiNARTE Certified EMC Engineer certification beneficial
o Working knowledge and design for control of EMI and/or TEMPEST (preventing compromise of classified signals/data)
o Design for prevention of system upset from EMP
o Familiarity with EM spectrum supportability and processes associated with obtaining RFA (Radio Frequency Authorization)

EDUCATION:
o Bachelor's degree in related discipline (EME or RF Engineering) with minimum of 9 years related experience in aircraft/aerospace industry, commercial or military. Master's degree with 7 years relevant experience.
