System One is actively seeking a Electro-Mechanical Aircraft Technician II for a 3-month contract position located in Orlando, FL.

Electro-Mechanical Aircraft Technician II Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoots and repairs electro-mechanical equipment to component level in accordance with FAA regulations.
  • Modifies equipment according to service bulletin and/or manufacturer documentation.
  • Works in collaboration with experienced Rotable technicians
  • Carries out prescribed procedures according to an established schedule.
  • Receives training in the use of more specialized repair and test equipment.
  • Follows specific repair processes to perform preventive maintenance on AC/DC generators.
  • Review work orders to ensure customer requested activities have been complied with, prior to release of the repair.
  • Work is reviewed by Rotable Technician IV, supervisors, and inspectors.
  • May work on alternative assignments with detailed written or oral instructions.
  • Completes quality and production paperwork, prepares estimates, and maintains maintenance documentation in accordance with current quality assurance requirements.
  • Communicates with cross-functional departments as required to support the repair process.
  • Participates in technician cross-training programs and may be assigned to other teams for short- or long-term assignments.
  • Completes repairs in accordance with company ISO procedures and within company objectives.


Electro-Mechanical Aircraft Technician II Qualifications:
  • Minimum of two (2) years related experience in servicing electro-mechanical equipment.
  • Maintenance or production experience in commercial airline and/or aviation product support field is preferred.
  • FAA Repair Certificate is a plus.
  • Prior military or commercial aviation repair/maintenance experience preferred.
  • Must understand Federal Aviation Regulations and other governing regulatory requirements.
  • Able to meticulously document incoming product condition and maintenance activities.
  • Candidate must possess a strong mechanical aptitude.


Electro-Mechanical Aircraft Technician II Skills:
  • Familiarity with hand tools and or not limited to use precision measuring tools such as Micrometers and Calipers.
  • Familiarity with tooling lathe and various air tools.
  • Must have experience using a PC (personal computer).
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and wiring diagrams.
  • Ability to understand and speak English to read technical literature, follow oral instructions, and communicate with cross functional team members.
  • Identify mechanical and operational problems and take corrective actions to repair.
  • Ability to use basic and advanced test instruments and perform adjustments as necessary.
  • Willing to think out-of-the-box to solve operational and technical problems.


Equipment/Software Used:
  • Drive stands, Lathes and manual test benches.
  • General: PC's, Oscilloscopes, and Multimeters


Work Environment and Physical Demands:
  • General office and electronics Lab environment
  • FAA approved repair station.
  • Position subject to FAA drug program requirements.
  • Occasional overtime and flexibility in work schedule
  • Some stress may occur.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.


Work schedule: Monday - Friday, 6 AM - 2:30 PM
Work Location: Orlando, FL
Pay Rate: $30.00 / Hr.
Contract Duration: 3-months.
