Chipton-Ross is seeking 10 Electro-Mechanical Assembler Specialist D's for a contract opportunity in Huntsville, AL.

*This position is 100% ONSITE.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs complex production assembly operations and inspections on electronic/electrical and mechanical assemblies and subassemblies. Performs rework, repair and modification to parts and assemblies. Presents statistical data to team for analysis and problem resolution. Provides complex periodic maintenance on machines and tooling and complex machine set up tasks following machine inspection checklists. Coordinates with manager and other departments to coordinate work flow and resolve issues. Performs complex rework, repair and modification to parts and assemblies. Assembles and delivers kits. Performs simple receiving and inspections procedures on incoming materials. Documents inspection results in accordance with applicable procedures. Coordinates with management or other departments to establish work priorities. Updates work status documentation. Work statement is a non-managerial role, non-leadership role. Regular and predictable attendance is required. Works under minimal supervision.

HARD REQUIREMENTS:
If hired, successful completion of training is a contingency for this assignment.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
• Experience with hand tools soldering tool, hot air pencil ,pliers, sockets etc.
• Utilize engineering drawings for complex assemblies
• Follow written work instructions
• Must be able to Operates computing equipment to access job information (e.g., drawings, specifications and other online information systems)
• Must be able to use various types of precision measuring tools
• Must be able to work around Chemicals (alcohol, solder ,Flux)

TRAINING CLASSES:
o New Hire Training 159.6 Hours total some take a little longer others. If they have certifications (IPC-610 & J standard) from a college or school we can transfer to client they would not be required to take the training they would just test out. If needed they can go thru the class if they are not sure they can test out.
o 100% attendance during training process ( No pre-approved time off with in the first 90 days)

o Environmentally Controlled Work Area
o Non-Aircraft/Product Systems Lockout, Tagout, Tryout Awareness
o IPC-A-610 Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies
o Moisture Sensitive Device Awareness
o E101 - Introduction to Electronic Soldering Wires and Tools Training
o J-STD-001 Solder - General Requirements (Module 1)
o J-STD-001 Solder - Wires & Terminals (Module 2)
o J-STD-001 Solder - Plated thru hole on PWBs (Module 3)
o J-STD-001 Solder - Surface Mount Technology (Module 4)
o J-STD-001 Space Addendum
o J-STD-001 Solder of Electrical/Electronic Assy
o Silicone Handling
o Torqueing and Staking Qualification
o Adhesive Bonding Operations Qualification

EDUCATION:
Accredited education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 7 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+5 years' related work, Bachelor+2 years' related work, etc.). Education must be accredited.

WORK HOURS: 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM
o Must be able to work scheduled shift Friday - Sunday, 12 hours.
