Electronic Assembler 6437

TCI has an immediate need for Electronic Assemblers in State College, PA. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity.

NOTE: This position requires US Citizenship.

SUMMARY

The Electronic Assembler is responsible for performing a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations which may include skilled hand work or utilizing automated production equipment. Comprehends and interprets a variety of technical specifications, terms and documents. Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units. Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.

REQUIREMENTS

• 1-3 years of work experience in assembly with smaller parts.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift 5-32 lbs, routinely.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions/schematics.
• Experience with PCB is a plus.
• Knowledge of computer systems.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail is a must.
• Soldering experience is a plus.
• Must be a US Citizen.
