    Position Summary
    As an IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) Teacher at Fremont International Academy, youwill be responsible for delivering high-quality, inquiry-based education to young learners, fostering their holistic development academically, socially, emotionally, and ethically. Youwill implement the IB framework, ensuring that the curriculum is engaging, relevant, and aligned with the IB standards, while nurturing a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
    Position Responsibilities:
    • Curriculum Planning and Implementation:
      • Develop and implement IB PYP curriculum for Grades K-5, incorporating transdisciplinary themes, concepts, and skills.
      • Design inquiry-based units of inquiry that stimulate curiosity, critical thinking, and creativity among students.
      • Integrate a variety of teaching strategies and resources to cater to diverse learning needs and styles.
    • Assessment and Evaluation:
      • Use formative and summative assessment strategies to evaluate student progress and inform instructional planning.
      • Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their growth and development.
      • Maintain accurate records of student achievement and assessment data.
    • Differentiation and Personalized Learning:
      • Differentiate instruction to meet the individual needs and interests of students, including English language learners and students with diverse learning abilities.
      • Foster a student-centered approach, empowering students to take ownership of their learning and set personal goals.
    • Collaboration and Professional Development:
      • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure vertical and horizontal alignment of curriculum and instructional practices.
      • Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance pedagogical skills and deepen understanding of the IB philosophy and practices.
      • Engage in collaborative planning, reflection, and sharing of best practices within the IB learning community.
    • Community Engagement and Communication:
      • Establish and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and guardians through regular communication and involvement in school events and activities.
      • Actively engage with the broader school community to promote the school's mission and values.
      • Support students in developing global awareness, empathy, and respect for cultural diversity.

    Salary : $50,000 - $82,010

    Contract : 188 Days
