Key Responsibilities:
  • CPT Level Review: Assess visit notes to confirm they align with the provider's CPT level.
  • Insurance Review: Address insurance details within charts during the coding process.
  • Team Collaboration: Assist fellow coders as needed, ensuring a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Expert Knowledge: Proficiency in 1500 billing, ICD-10, and CPT coding.
  • Revenue Cycle Familiarity: Understanding of the revenue cycle's functionality.
  • EMR Proficiency: Ability to learn and use EMR and electronic billing software. Experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW) EMR is a plus.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to operate general office equipment.
  • Team Player: Ability to work well with others, take constructive critique, and support company goals and objectives.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to jump in and help fellow coders as needed, and adapt to changing environments.

Must-Haves:
  • CPC Certification
  • E & M Coding Experience: At least 2+ years.
  • EMR Systems Experience

Nice-to-Have Skills:
  • eClinicalWorks Proficiency
  • Medical Terminology Knowledge
  • Microsoft Teams Experience
  • Full Cycle Billing Process Understanding

Work Schedule:
  • Hours: 7:30 am to 4:00 pm MST, Monday to Friday.

Pay: $22-$24
  • Health Benefits - We offer medical, dental, and vision to our talent.
  • Retirement Benefits - We offer a 401K program to talent once they have been working for a minimum of 6 months. The 2 enrollment dates are 1/1 and 7/1 - enrollment can only occur on those dates.
  • Paid Sick Leave - Talent may accrue up to 10 days annually at an accrual rate of 1 hour for every 30 hours worked.
