Position Overview

This Embedded Software Development position offers an opportunity to help us advance the capabilities of a new generation of Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) Imaging systems. The successful candidate for this entry-level position will have strong technical and communication skills and be effective in a collaborative work environment. Travel within the US and overseas may be required to support integration and tests at customer sites.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design and develop C/C++ embedded software
• Perform software/hardware integration
• Manage priorities, tasks, and issues for successful project completion
• Follow defined Software Best Practices and contribute to them based on lessons learned
• C/C++ embedded software development experience
• Test and debugging experience at software and hardware levels

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree and less than 2 years prior relevant experience OR
• In absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience is required
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Must have or be capable of obtaining a US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance.Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation/reinstatement and must meet eligibility requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

• Multi-threading experience is desired
• Familiarity with cybersecurity for embedded systems is desired
• Linux administration experience is desired
• DoD experience is a plus
• Experience with Agile development is a plus
