Emergency General Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Needed in Gorgeous Albuquerque, NM

Lovelace Medical Group is searching for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant at their Emergency General Surgery team in beautiful Albuquerque, New Mexico.

This position requires fifteen 12-hour shifts per month (7am-7pm or 7pm-7am), assigned based on surgeons' requests. Must work a combination of day, night, weekend and holiday shifts. APP support is available daily during 7am-7pm shift. The APP is to be available for all emergency room and inpatient surgical consults during their shift. Post-op patients are to be followed up with on an outpatient basis at our downtown general surgery OP clinic. The APP is scheduled for 1 to 2 OP clinics per month.

Onsite Testing and Procedure Room available

15 shifts per month (12-hour, 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am)

EMR: Epic

General surgery experience preferred but not required

Surgical First Assist required
