  • For a limited time, MaineHealth is offering up to $2,500 sign-on for Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians!

    Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a full-time AEMT position. Bonus amount prorated for part-time hires. Per diem hires are ineligible.

    Current MaineHealth employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth member employees are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.
  • Position Summary
    • Provides both basic and advanced life support during emergency pre-hospital and interfacility transfer care to patients when indicated by the patient's injury or illness in accordance with State and local protocols
  • Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
    • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
    • License/Certifications: Maine EMT-Advanced license. Valid driver's license. BLS at hire.
    • Experience: N/A
    • Must be 18 years of age
    • Annual Skills Assessment, specific to department policies
    • Annual Fit Testing
