JOB SUMMARY:
Emergency Medical Technician transports Harris Health System patients via ambulance and provides care in accordance with treatment modalities and Protocols.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of accredited school offering EMS training. EMT Certified in the State of Texas
One year in EMS field preferred. Current Texas Driver's license
Equipment Operated: Vehicle, Computer
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Communication Skills: Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contact)
Exceptional Verbal (e.g., Public Speaking)
Writing/Composing: Reports
OTHER SKILLS: Analytical, Medical Terms, P.C.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Able to work according to specific, subject to extreme weather conditions.
