Aspirus Medford Hospital in Medford, WI is seeking an EMERGENCY ROOM TECHNICIAN to join our team!

This is a member of the patient care team that provides clerical duties and direct patient care in the Emergency Department under the direction of the Department Director, licensed nursing staff and providers. They strive to meet the communication needs of the patient/family, departmental staff and medical staff.

Hours: Part Time .6 FTE, 48 hours every pay period. Varied shifts and will include weekends and holidays.

Experience/Qualifications

  • Education required - graduate of an accredited MA program; enrolled in an approved nursing program, having completed a basic nursing arts required; certified nursing assistant or have completed the EMT basic course.
  • Medical terminology course and basic computer course preferred
  • Patient care in a clinic, acute care hospital or ambulance required.
  • Six (6) months experience in an acute care hospital preferred.
  • Current BLS certification.
