Provide assessment, referral and counseling services to EAP clients, to include SAP evaluations. Provide employee orientations and supervisory/management consultation and training. Provide assessment, referral and counseling services to EAP clients in a professional and confidential manner. Perform Supervisory Referral assessments including Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) evaluations and follow-up functions for contract companies. Prepare monthly statistical utilization reports for all contract companies and maintain up-to-date client records. P rovide Clinical Supervision to Student Intern(s) and administrative staff, as necessary, in the Director and/or Clinical Coordinator's absence. Maintain contact with local treatment resources regarding in-patient, outpatient, and self-help groups and update resource /referral network. Maintain contact with referral agencies when clients are hospitalized and throughout aftercare. P erform employee orientations, supervisory and human resource development training to Montefiore Nyack Hospital employees and external contract companies. Provide organizational crisis intervention services to Montefiore Nyack Hospital and external contract companies. Represent the EAP at various promotional activities within Nyack Hospital and with other contract companies.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Education: Master of Social Work or equivalent from an accredited University
2. Experience: One year experience in EAP or related field and experience in alcohol
and substance abuse assessment and treatment preferred
3. Training/Certification: CEAP eligible, SAP eligible
4. Licensure: New York State Licensed Social Worker (LMSW or LCSW) or equivalent
