Job Summary
Responsible for staging, configuring, troubleshooting and resolving a wide-variety of computing devices, including PCs, mobile devices, peripheral devices, printers, audio, visual, video and software applications.

Essential Functions
Installs new applications and system upgrades in an optimal manner to minimize the effect on current production activities. Upgrades and installation of new computers, mobile devices and applications. Conducts software application issues resolution. Performs desktop moves. Supports end-user hardware and software related peripherals. Creates training materials and provides training to end-users. Maintain current knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures related to PC desktop support. Complies with all SRH Policies and procedures. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education
High school diploma or GED required. Associate's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems or related experience preferred.

Experience/Training
Minimum two (2) years of demonstrated technical and job experience. Understanding of application concepts, practices and procedures related to PC Windows desktop, mobile devices and peripheral device support and problem resolution.

License/Certifications
A+, MCDST, MCSE (Enterprise Devices and Apps), MCP, CNA, Windows 7 or greater, MS Office and are preferred.

Other Skills
Effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills required. Possesses knowledge in Active Directory, Microsoft desktop operating systems, DNS, OU, DHCP, and imaging and provisioning of computing devices. In-depth knowledge of peripheral devices including printers, scanners, mobile devices, audio visual equipment, conference room technologies. Demonstrates ability to isolate root cause and resolve PC, mobile device and peripheral hardware issues. Highly motivated; relies on experience and judgment to assess, plan, and accomplish tasks. Ability to communicate on interpersonal and technical levels; both verbally and in writing to work positively with end-users and the IS team environment.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time; when working in office. Repetitive tasks such as typing, sitting, answering phones, and interacting with computers and computer systems most of the day is a function of the position. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to focus.
