Work location: Texas Health Frisco, 12400 N Dallas Parkway TX 75033

Work hours: Full Time- 40 Hours/week; Days Shifts will vary Monday-Friday or Four 10- hour shifts; On-call requirement

Here's What You Need

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1 Year of GI clinical or hospital experience preferred
  • GI Lab or procedural area (OR, Radiology etc.) experience strongly preferred
  • CNA - Certified Nurses Aide Upon Hire Pref Or
  • MA - Medical Assistant Upon Hire Pref Or
  • EMT - Emergency Medical Technician Upon Hire Pref And
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Req

What You Will Do

  • Assists physicians and nurses with GI procedures
  • Sets up endoscopic equipment including specific individualized equipment after assessment of patient.
  • Assists physicians and RNs throughout procedures
  • Handles instrumentation from basic to complex procedures.
  • Takes actions to reduce or eliminate patient risk
