Endoscopy Technician/Medical Assistant PRN

USPI Shoreline Surgery Center is seeking a motivated Endoscopy Technician/Medical Assistant to join our team. We have 4 OR rooms and 1 Treatment room. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in Gastroenterology, Ophthalmology. We are looking for a candidate to be available Monday-Friday, schedule subject to changed based on surgical schedule and flow of day. Candidate needs to be available for some early mornings and later evenings.

Job Summary: The Endo Tech/Medical Assistant assists endoscopy team during endoscopy procedures. They arrange and inventory sterile set-up for operation and passes items as needed to the endoscopy team. Assists in preparing and moving patients, and in cleaning the endoscopy room. The Endo Tech is responsible for the provision of care to meet identified patient outcomes and to achieve the goals of the facility as directed by the Registered Nurse. Provides a centralized distribution and control of supplies and equipment to the facility. The tech also stores prepared articles and supplies in designated areas. Maintains and tracks inventory according to facility procedures. This position reports to the Charge Nurse and ASC Director.

Required Skills:

Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED
CPR Certified
2+ years' experience in established endoscopy center, preferred but not required. Will train right candidate.
Working knowledge of standard Gastroenterology procedures. Preferred but not required.
