Job Description:

The Clinical Transformation Office is likened to an internal consulting group, partnering with various teams throughout UAB Medicine, focused on problem solving and improving care delivery with a foundation in systems thinking. The Engagement Manager plays a key role in advancing initiatives via data analytics, strong communication skills, problem solving, project management and collaborating with key stakeholders.

Under the guidance of the Director of Operations for the Clinical Transformation Office, the Engagement Manager will facilitate operational and clinical improvement initiatives utilizing system-based performance improvement and change management principles, methodologies, and techniques. The Engagement Manager will manage and direct the implementation of new approaches to care that support and enhance patient engagement and transition between levels of care. The Engagement Manager will manage daily activities including collecting, synthesizing and reporting data and coordinating process improvement initiatives. The Engagement Manager serves as an active member ofimprovement initiatives, the transformation process , and develops and maintains collaborative relationships with all stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in healthcare or a related field and three (3) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirements.
