THE OPPORTUNITY
As a Cloud Engineer, you will research, design and implement modern, automated infrastructure and services leveraging infrastructure as code and devops technologies and processes. This infrastructure encompasses Cloud and Cloud-to-Edge locations supporting Chipotle's enterprise, digital platforms and restaurant solutions. This role is a key contributor within the organization, ensuring technical solutions are effective, sustainable, efficient, secure, and compliant.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Deploy, configure, manage and maintain cloud-based infrastructure and services in a secure, highly available manner leveraging DevOps and Infrastructure-as-Code; Leverage experience with multi-regional configurations, data protection and BC/DR.
• As owners of Chipotle's cloud infrastructure, administer cloud configurations, related solutions, and define standards across multiple cloud platforms.
• Own and administer multiple Kubernetes clusters and Container Registries
• Ownership and administration of cloud tenants providing guidance and assistance as appropriate. Particularly focused with defining, documenting and implementing standards for existing and new capabilities, managing access and keys, cost management/licensing, and operational needs.
• Ownership and administration of the Office365 environment with an emphasis in Entra ID, Microsoft Exchange, security, compliance, and licensing.
• Deployment, configuration, and administration of Windows and Linux operating systems as virtual machines, including Azure Virtual Desktop.
• Conduct research into emerging technologies and trends such as cloud/fog/edge, IoT, advanced analytics, and AI/ML..
• Participation in an on-call rotation.
• Some travel may be required.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TABLE

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) from 4-year college or university required or commensurate work experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in the role (minimum).
• Current technical certifications with a focus on one or more of the major hyperscale cloud service providers such as Microsoft's Azure or Amazon's AWS.
• Clear, effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong understanding across cloud and infrastructure components to provide end-to-end cloud infrastructure designs.
• Experience leveraging Helm, kubectl, and devops pipelines to configure and support multiple environments.
• Experience with multiple of: Azure CLI, PowerShell, AWS CLI, Terraform, Bash, Azure ARM

PAY TRANSPARENCY
A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range for this position is $97,000 to $135,000. You are also eligible for annual cash bonuses and equity awards based upon performance and other factors. Actual compensation offered may vary depending on skill level, experience, and/or education.
