Duties
  • You will establish deadlines, priorities, and work sequences, and plan work assignments based on general work schedules, methods, and policies set by higher level supervisors.
  • You will observe work in progress to anticipate and resolve problems, reassign personnel, and coordinate work among workers and other supervisors.
  • You will recommend restructuring positions when necessary to achieve the most effective and economical utilization of personnel.
  • You will exercise technical and administrative supervision in accomplishing trades and labor work in the roads/grounds of the facilities maintenance section
  • You will manage the workforce assignment engaged in repair, installation structure, and/or maintenance including general labor, engineering equipment operation, crane operation, small engine repair, motor vehicle/truck operations, etc.

  • Employee is required to possess and maintain a valid Class A Commerical Drivers License- including air brake endorsement and a government driver's license at all times. Training for the government driver's license will be provided by the government.

  • Must be able to safely and properly wear all personal protective equipment including respiratory protection respirator required of the trade/shop
  • A pre-employment physical is needed
