Apple's Core OS group is committed to building fully integrated operating systems that combine software, hardware and silicon into a polished Apple experience! The Power & Performance EPM team is looking for an experienced Engineering Program Manager to lead highly cross-functional efforts delivering thermal technologies across all Apple platforms. This position will require driving integration of thermal management software across various cross-functional teams and presenting program updates in leadership forums. In this unique and highly visible role, you will be working closely with system architecture teams, product design, system software, field diagnostics, and several other technology groups at Apple.

This role requires an energetic and motivated individual with an understanding of software/firmware integration, strong organization skills and an ability to influence a large cross-functional audience. Key Qualifications
5+ years of program management experience in software, hardware or silicon development
Excellent spoken and concise written communication
Ability to build relationships and influence others
Strong understanding of and experience in managing complex, multi-functional software programs
Sound technical foundation and a highly motivated self-starter

Description
In this role you will be working with the Energy Technologies team on Core Thermal technologies. You will be the central hub driving program integration with software, hardware and silicon engineering teams at Apple. You will be responsible for creating program schedules, end to end integration plans, tracking platform integration, assessing schedule risks and resolving blockers. You will be in the forefront of conversations with teams driving program execution. You will be collating and presenting program details at exec reviews to help drive critical decisions for our hardware platforms.

Education & Experience
BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
