Job Summary/Basic Function
Serve primarily as the campus GIS technician utilizing electromagnetic locating equipment to locate existing utilities on campus during construction and excavation projects. Will also use Geographic Information System (GIS) equipment to collect data for entry into the campus' GIS mapping software. This position will also serve as a backup to the Engineering Services Supervisor by conducting routine inspections and data collection related to all elevators and emergency generators on campus.
Required Education
High School diploma or High School Equivalency (HSE) required.
Required Related Experience
Two years work experience in a related service or construction field and use of a personal computer.
Required License/Registration/Certification
Valid Tennessee driver's license required.
