OVERVIEW

Rambus, a premier chip and silicon IP provider, is seeking to hire an exceptional Engineering Technical Director, (High speed interface IP) to join our team in North America. Candidates will be joining some of the brightest inventors and engineers in the world to develop products that make data faster and safer.

As an Engineering Technical Director, the candidate will be reporting to the Vice President of Engineering in a Full Time position.

Responsibilities:

Looking for a seasoned IP Development technical leader to drive, review, and cultivate development processes to assure top quality deliverables to our IP customers. Responsible for leading technical design reviews, assuring that defined processes are followed, identifying and mitigating risks, and continuing to improve development processes with state-of-the-art tools and procedures. The successful applicant will also participate in driving innovation and vitality as well as reviews of issues to establish corrective and preventative actions.

Requirements/Qualifications:
  • BSEE (MSEE a plus)
  • >15 years experience developing high speed Interface IP
  • Strong technical, organizational, and project management skills
  • Process oriented individual who can establish and drive methodology, quality improvement, and thorough IP Reviews
  • Strong rapport with development peers
  • Thorough knowledge of the entire development process for complex IP
  • Agility to take on special quality projects
  • Able to actively review, assess, and advocate for publications and patents
