You will also have access to our comprehensive benefits and competitive pay in addition to growth opportunities and excellent retirement options.Job Summary:AID is looking for an Engineering Technician to work at Keesler AFB, MS.Works in Operations Engineering Department under general supervision of a degreed engineer to support asset management and life-cycle optimization of Keesler AFB facility structures and road/pavement.ResponsibilitiesJob Responsibilities:
  • Manages requirements identification and prioritization for infrastructure systems
  • Works with Operations to develop and implement a program to analyze the condition of facility structures, roads, stormwater infrastructure and similar systems and make recommendations for infrastructure longevity and improvement
  • Conducts infrastructure system assessments and maintain asset databases
  • Conducts root cause analysis of infrastructure failures and provide recommendations for system improvements
  • Analyzes customer work requests to validate requirements and estimate labor/material costs
  • Supports post-storm recovery infrastructure assessments
  • Develops/updates/manages Asset Management Portfolios (AMP) and sub-AMP(s) for building structures and associated pavement systems
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
  • 10 years' relevant work experience in general construction
  • Associate's degree in engineering technology or vocational school equivalent
  • Certifications appropriate for level of experience
  • Ability to pass a National Agency background check for working on a DoD installation
  • Valid state Driver's License
