Engineering Technician Level IV

This non-personal support effort includes services supporting NSWC PCD environmental program management. The support requires interaction with all levels of technical, scientific and management personnel to exchange information within the areas of focus. This support requires expertise in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), and Microsoft TEAMS. The position requires the ability to communicate well orally and in writing with personnel across NSWC PCD and other Commands. The support will take place onboard NSWC PCD, as well as remotely.

Responsibilities:

The support effort will include the following:

• Collect field data, analyze the results, and create/update associated databases.
• Assist in the preparation of Environmental Standard Operating Procedures and/or checklists, and participate in their review and revisions.
• Assist in environmental inspections.
• Upload data and forms into databases, including Microsoft TEAMS.
• Review and maintain environmental databases current with accurate information.
• Track action items related to environmental planning and oversight of acquisition infrastructure support projects.
• Track corrective actions and resolution of findings identified in internal environmental program self-assessments/audits and external environmental inspections/audits.

Minimum Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:

• A minimum of two years' experience in utilizing database systems and other electronic media to enter, revise, track and store data to support environmental analysis and compliance management.
• Knowledge and experience in State and Federal environmental regulatory issues
• Knowledge of Florida's Department of Environmental Protection {FDEP)
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
