The Low Voltage Hardware Validation Test team is looking to bring on an Integration Engineering Technician to support Semi test development, execution, documentation, and root cause analysis. An Integration Engineering Technician will support all aspects of testing from electrical debugging, mechanical fixture design/building, test equipment setup, and software script modification.

Responsibilities
  • Work alongside Test and Integration Engineers to validate vehicle functional safety for the Semi program through electrical testing and instrumentation
  • Swap out interior/exterior trim and vehicle parts (Seats, dash, headliner and center console, wheels, controllers, radiator, fenders, etc.)
  • Interpret block diagrams and vehicle wiring schematics to build interconnected instrumentation system that uses contactors, breakers, solenoids, DAQs, oscilloscopes, and relays
  • Build, debug, rework, and dismantle complex vehicle instrumentation systems
  • Design, build, and dismantle static fixtures made of T-Slotted aluminum


Requirements
  • Custom harness building experience related to building signal and power cables sizes from 22 gauge to 0 gauge
  • Experience with Can Bus communication and vehicle instrumentation with the use of oscilloscopes
  • Ability to manage multiple test priorities and communicate proactively
  • Analyzing test data and identifying trends to predict potential failures
  • Collaborating with engineers to call out test setup and electrical issues
  • (preferred, not required) Experience working with Linux, visual studio code, and Command line. Experience working with temp, humidity, radar, ambient light, and presser sensors. Experience fabricating things with CNC mills/Lathes, 3D printers, Laser cutter, chop saws, drill presses, electronic/mechanical crimpers. Experience gathering electrical, mechanical, temperature, data with strain gauges, TC, DMM, oscilloscope, torque wrench, Micro ohm meter, and HI pot

      $24.40 - $65.40/hour, depending on level + cash and stock awards + benefits
