SAIC is looking for an Engineering Technician II in Bedford, IN to support the U.S. Navy. This is an entry level position and will be be responsible for performing duties involving the assembly and integration of military and commercial systems.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES:

• This position performs as a structured cable technician and will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing cable infrastructure in a low voltage environment.
• The person in this position will be able to meet the basic physical demands of the workplace as well as provide excellent customer care.
• This position will ensure that maintenance will be performed on current cable systems and assemblies.
• This position will also review newly installed or relocated cables per the customers' specifications.

Qualifications

EDUCATION: High School Diploma and 1 years of experience.

REQUIRED:

• Basic understanding of utilizing hand tools with precision and accuracy.
• Possess good oral and written communications skills and be familiar with PC Microsoft 365 applications
• Must be motivated, adaptable, flexible, and able to produce quality results in an evolving, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and follow-up skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

CLEARANCE:

• Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance; not needed to start.
• U.S. citizenship required.
