Responsibilities

Position reports to Manager Security Engineering. Performs duties in support of Security Engineering and Security Architecture including but not limited to: designing, developing and recommending integrated security system solutions to ensure proprietary/confidential data and systems protection; managing systems engineering tasks; and performing as overall technical lead for complex projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field preferred. Relevant training or experience required.
• Strong security background in network/systems/physical security, authentication, authorization and usability.
• Deep Knowledge of network-based and system-level attacks and mitigation methods.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with Palo Alto firewalls, or other NGFW's required. IDS/IPS, End-Point Protection, Information Security Incident Management Systems and analyzing security for systems and applications (Penetration testing, web application security testing, vulnerability scanning, risk mitigation, etc.) required.
• CISSP preferred, or ability to obtain one within 12 twelve months preferred.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
• Hybrid role.
