The Enrollment Manager will be responsible to oversee day to day activities related to enrollment operations in order to accomplish the business and their team's objectives. Our manager's and their teams have a serious responsibility to make every contact informative, productive, positive, and memorable.

In this position you will be responsible to oversee day to day activities related to enrollment operations in order to accomplish the business and assigned team objectives. You can expect to oversee 8-15 direct reports and will be responsible for overall operations for servicing GEHA, and other duties as required.

This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of (7:00am - 5:00pm). It may be necessary, given the business need, to work hours outside of these times.

We offer weeks of on-the-job training. The hours during training will be 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday - Friday.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Supervise Enrollment Supervisor(s) and Representatives in their daily job functions to ensure enrollment additions and changes are applied timely and all turnaround times and quality standards are met and/or exceeded.
  • May include Managing Enrollment Phone team, ensuring calls are handled accurately and within guaranteed timeframe.
  • Ensure phone schedule adherence meets or exceeds department standard.
  • Provide coaching to their supervisor's and team members.
  • Handle all escalations courteously, politely, and professionally.
  • Act as back-up support for other Managers as needed for meetings and other departmental responsibilities.
  • Advise management in long-range planning for teams in their hierarchy.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent work experience
  • Must be 18 years of age OR older
  • 4+ years enrollment or eligibility experience
  • 3+ years of previous management experience with 10+ direct reports
  • Experience with GEHA members
  • Proficiency with computer and Windows PC applications
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel (create, edit, sort, filter, pivot tables)
  • Ability to work Monday - Friday, any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 7:00am - 5:00pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Governmental contract knowledge specific to Enrollment and Eligibility
  • Knowledge of Human Resources policies and procedures
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint (create, edit, and save documents and presentations)

Telecommuting Requirements:

  • Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
  • Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy.
  • Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service.

  • Demonstrate ability for strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Must have the ability to handle multiple issues and prioritize appropriately while working swiftly & efficiently without compromising quality customer service.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize caseload based on business and customer need as well as respond appropriately and effectively in difficult situations.

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Washington or Rhode Island Residents Only: The salary range for this is $70,200 - $137,800 per year. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
