Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Cloud Engineering Lead with a minimum of 10 years of experience to lead our cloud engineering team. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud security principles, infrastructure as code (IaC), configuration management, and containerization technologies. The ideal candidate will have experience managing complex cloud projects, driving technical strategies, and leading high-performing teams. The position requires a strong background in Azure, a solid grasp of Agile methodologies, and the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cloud Strategy & Architecture: Design and implement cloud strategies, architectures, and solutions using Azure, ensuring security, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of cloud engineers, providing technical direction, mentoring, and support to drive project success and professional growth.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple cloud projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, allocating resources, and ensuring on-time delivery.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and deploy infrastructure using IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, ARM templates) to automate and streamline cloud provisioning.
  • Configuration Management: Implement configuration management best practices using tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet to maintain system stability and security.
  • Containerization & Orchestration: Lead the adoption of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) to support microservices architecture and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Azure Security Implementation: Establish and enforce Azure security policies, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, security, and operations, to align cloud solutions with business requirements and project goals.
  • Technical Leadership: Stay current with the latest cloud technologies, trends, and industry developments to guide the organization's cloud strategy.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Develop detailed technical documentation, project status reports, and executive-level presentations to communicate project progress and outcomes.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in cloud engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Cloud Expertise: Extensive experience in Azure cloud platforms, including security principles, network architecture, and identity management.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, ARM templates), configuration management (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet), and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Agile Methodologies: Strong understanding of Agile frameworks and experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and mentor engineering teams, manage complex projects, and drive strategic cloud initiatives.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Certifications: Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Security Engineer, or other relevant certifications are highly desirable.
