Piper Companies is looking for an Enterprise Data Engineer to join an environmental manufacturing organization based in Washington, DC . The Enterprise Data Engineer will own data conversion and system integrations for the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 across multiple sites. This position will be hybrid onsite in Washington, DC

Responsibilities of the Enterprise Data Engineer include:
  • Participate actively in the design phase of ERP implementation, understanding requirements and building relationships.
  • Drive risk-based data and integration decisions to minimize ERP implementation risks.
  • Lead data extraction, transformation, and loading from legacy sources into Dynamics 365.
  • Design, develop, and troubleshoot integrations with Dynamics 365 and other systems.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for data processes and integration architecture.
  • Build and deploy scalable data pipelines and APIs to support evolving data needs.

Qualifications for the Enterprise Data Engineer include:
  • Proficiency in ETL processes and tools, preferably with experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Knowledge of Azure data platforms and tools like Power Automate, Azure Synapse, SQL database, Power BI, and more.
  • Experience with REST-based APIs, HTTP, SFTP, SSH, SOAP Protocols.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, Scala for data manipulation.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, with 3 years of experience as a data engineer.

Compensation for the Enterprise Data Engineer include:
  • Salary Range: $130,000 - $160,000
