Enterprise Monitoring Engineer

Position Overview:

The Enterprise Monitoring Engineer will manage and enhance our monitoring environment and cybersecurity tools. Responsibilities include tool installation, maintenance, process development, and proactive issue prevention.

Responsibilities:

- Support and manage third-party applications and collaborate across departments.

- Expertly handle monitoring standards for on-premises and cloud environments.

- Develop and optimize processes and integrate monitoring and cybersecurity technologies.

- Serve as a tier 3 resource for critical issues and document tools and processes.

- Conduct system monitoring, develop specifications, and manage project plans.

- Analyze and deploy database changes, support application performance, and troubleshoot issues.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, science, or related field preferred.

- 7+ years of experience with performance monitoring tools and 5+ years in application support and cybersecurity.

- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

- Ability to work independently and in teams, with a commitment to customer service.

Technical Skills:

- 2+ years of experience with performance monitoring tools (e.g., SCCM, Splunk).

- Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, .NET, SQL, Python).

- Experience with SQL Server (2012-2019), API frameworks, and Cloud technologies (Azure, AWS).

- Familiarity with configuration management tools, network protocols, and performance testing.
