We are currently looking for experienced, motivated, and creative individuals to fill an Environmental Field Technician located in Mentone, TX.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct OGI surveys in accordance with fugitive emissions monitoring plans and perform maintenance repairs on time to meet Federal and State regulatory requirements, and towards Oxy's commitments to detect / reduce emissions.

• Generate OGI survey reports for compliance with regulatory monitoring / recordkeeping requirements by using available Oxy enterprise mobile and computer applications; TrueContext, SAP, and related reporting dashboard applications.

• Communicate follow-on repair request Notifications to Operations, judiciously coordinate with Operations on troubleshooting and extensive repair efforts and is available to verify the repair once complete.

• Collaborate with Field Operations to refine best practices, share knowledge and experiences, and improve training technique

• Complete FLIR and Oxy OGI Training courses, and be prepared to mentor and train newly hired Environmental LDAR-OGI Tech

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

• Minimum 4+ years of experience working in the Oil & Gas Industry; experience working with Operations is preferred.

• HS Diploma or GED
• Knowledge of surface operations and familiarity with equipment & components including; Wellheads, Separators, Heater Treaters, Glycol Units, Reboiler/Regeneration Systems, Tanks, Thief Hatches/Enardos, VRUs, VCUs, Flares, Compressors, Pumps, Hi/Lo Bleed Valves, Pneumatic Controllers, Flanges & Connectors, etc.

• Effective interpersonal skills dealing with personnel at various levels and in a variety of functions.

• Desire to be a team player. Keen and able learner, readily adaptable to changes in program applications and various technologies.

• Effective oral and written communication skills; ability to effectively present complex topics in a concise manner.

• Strong expertise in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and data analysis.

• Strong time-management skills and ability to independently plan and prioritize multiple assignments to meet expectations of time and quality.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Valid driver's license with good driving record and willing to drive to remote locations.
