ECU Health Roanoke-Chowan Hospital is a 114-bed community hospital located in Ahoskie. Serving four nearby counties, the 15-bed emergency department sees approximately 18,000 patients per year. ECU Health Roanoke-Chowan Hospital provides a wide range of health services, including medical, surgical and radiation oncology. In addition, the Wound Healing and Pain Management clinics serve as referral centers for neighboring ECU Health hospitals and providers.

Position Summary

The Environmental Services Floor Technician ensures the delivery of safe, clean and infection-free environment to VROA patients and patrons.

Minimum Requirements

At least six months of Floor Care in either Housekeeping, Hotel Cleaning, or Industrial Cleaning.

Other Information

Full time with benefits - 38 hours per week

Evening shift: Floor Care Experience Preferred. Willing to work around bodily fluids. Covid -19 work environment and the cleaning of rooms. Pushing or pulling 35lbs or less also standing, bending and walking for long periods. Stripping and refinished floors.
