Job Description :

Systems' is seeking an Environmental Technician for Ordnance Systems, Inc. supporting the Holston Army Ammunition Plant's Industrial Wastewater Treatment Facility (IWWTF) in the Environmental Compliance Laboratory.

As an Environmental Lab Technician, you will be responsible for conducting wet chemistry analyses such as Total Suspended Solids (TSS), Settleable Solids (SS), Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD), Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD), Dissolved Oxygen (DO), Total Residual Chlorine (TRC), pH, e.

Coli microbiological testing, and Nitrate and Ammonia by Ion Selective Electrode methodology.

This role will also be responsible for field sampling the cooling and stormwater outfalls onsite to satisfy our NPDES and TMSP permits.

Using Good Laboratory Practices (GLP's), you will follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).

The schedule for this position will be 40 hours per week to include weekend, weekdays, and holidays.

The Environmental Tech will support at least one weekend a month.
