Equipment Engineering Technician, Cybertruck, General Assembly

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineering Technician to join our team at Tesla. The ideal candidate will have expertise in electrical systems, programming, and hydraulic systems, with a focus on maintaining and optimizing advanced manufacturing equipment. This role involves hands-on troubleshooting, maintenance, and continuous improvement of equipment and processes to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair advanced manufacturing equipment, focusing on electrical systems, hydraulic systems, and programming
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance as per established protocols
• Collaborate with engineering teams to diagnose and resolve equipment issues and implement upgrades
• Develop and refine maintenance procedures to improve equipment reliability and performance
• Utilize programming skills to update and modify control systems for enhanced functionality
• Analyze equipment data to identify trends and implement corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and practices during maintenance activities

Requirements

• Proficiency in maintaining and troubleshooting electrical systems and hydraulic systems
• Experience with programming and control systems used in manufacturing
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
• Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance practices
• Familiarity with industrial automation and control software
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Experience in a manufacturing environment with high-volume production lines
