This role is designed to support the Equity Planning & Education Center team in a variety of functions. Primarily, this individual will provide data entry and production of Equity Award Analysis reports for our Equity Planners and Financial Advisors in the delivery of Equity Award Analysis consultations to clients and prospects. This will include accessing our stock plan record keeping systems and transferring data into our EAA tool for a complete record of stock plan holdings on a client by client basis. As part of this role, you may eventually interface with clients to begin the consulting process and collect additional information from clients. In addition, there will be administrative duties such as scheduling and inbound consultation request functions that you will be responsible for. This role is a great opportunity to eventually become an Equity Compensation Planner by shadowing some of the industries most experienced individuals in this area. We require at least one year of financial services experience, a desire and ability to accurately input data as a primary function, and someone who could attain their Series 7 within 6 months and CFP within two years.

  • 1-3 years professional experience within financial services or wealth management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be detail oriented, well organized and good time management skills
  • Strong computer and data entry skills
  • Series 7 license within 6 months of start date
  • CFP within two years of start date
  • This will be an on-site in office role

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $60,000 and $110,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
