ESD 113- School Nurse (ESD 113 Region)

The job of School Nurse is done for the purpose/s of assessing the health needs of students; developing emergency care plans and individual health plans, incorporating input from parent and physician, complying with the laws relating to student health, and including parental and guardian consent; providing and overseeing appropriate care for ill, medically fragile and injured students; providing health information; and serving as a resource to teachers, staff, and administrators and identifying health problems for referral.

The ESD 113 Region includes school districts throughout Grays Harbor, Lewis, Mason, Pacific, and Thurston counties.

This position is 7 hours/day and days/year to be determined by placement. Depending on overall yearly work hours, benefits may include Medical/Vision/Dental Insurance; FSA/DCAP; Life/AD&D Insurance; LTD Insurance; EAP; Retirement; DCP; and Sick/Personal Leave.
