Substitute Media Specialist

An ESS substitute Media Specialist assists in providing appropriate learning experiences and educational opportunities for each student entering the media center.

Responsibilities

Execute lesson plans using a broad range of tools and resources to support information and digital.

Support and work with teachers on the integration of technology into all areas of the curriculum and instructional.

Provide students, teachers, and staff with materials and resources that reflect current information and instructional needs.

Actively promote reading through activities such as interactive storytelling, book- talks, book clubs, displays, publications, reading programs, and special events.

Performs other duties as necessary for the effective operation of the school.

Qualifications

• Certified - GA Media Specialist Certification
• Non-Certified - Master’s degree in Library Science or Instructional Technology
• State/Federal Criminal History Clearance
• Drug Screen
