This position assists estheticians with daily tasks and activities. Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):

• Keeping work areas stocked with sufficient supplies and products through a full day of operation
• Learning techniques and protocols for spa facials and treatments, as trained by the Spa Services Manager to Five Star/Five Diamond standards
• Providing facials to spa staff in order to perfect techniques and skills during the apprentice period
• Cleaning equipment and common areas used after performing services
• Maintaining neatness of service waiting areas
• Folding towels and linens for use in the service areas
• Attending all training sessions to learn new techniques to be used in the performance of the job
• Performing tasks assigned by supervisor or manager, including retail operations
• Assisting with inventory counts and maintaining par levels in treatment rooms and supply closet

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Current Pennsylvania Cosmetology or Esthetic License in progress or obtained, i.e. must be a student at a recognized Cosmetology and/or Esthetics school with graduation expected within 1 month of hire
• Or be a licensed Esthetician with 6 months or less experience working as an Esthetician.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Must be well spoken, polite and able to communicate clearly

Job Demands:

• Physical requirements include bending, stooping and lifting up to 20 lbs
• Schedule will vary according to business needs, but includes 8 hour shifts, weekends, and holidays
• This is a union position and the working schedule will be based on union seniority. Candidates must be able to meet scheduled requirements which will most likely include weekends and evenings
