ETL/Informatica Developer

Akkodis is seeking an ETL/Informatica Developer for a Contract job with a client in Plano, TX . Ideally looking for applicants with a solid background in the banking and financial services industry.

The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Job responsibilities include:

- Perform data analysis and reporting to support business decision-making
- Develop, Design, and Implement ETL process using Informatica and/or Oracle PLSQL in a large Datawarehouse environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support dev leads in identifying and prioritizing business needs
- Support server updates and Informatica cloud migration projects to ensure seamless system integration
- Work closely with the IT team to ensure data security and compliance
- Analyze and troubleshoot data discrepancies and system issues
- Understanding the scope of Project Management and scaling up to lend a hand when required.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- At least 7 plus years of experience in data analysis.
- Candidates must have more than 8 years of experience in Oracle/PL SQL, ETL/Informatica
- Strong knowledge of Unix shell scripting
- Hands-on experience on Informatica Upgrade/Migration experience
- Experience in data quality approaches and techniques is a must
- Excellent written and communication skills and ability to clearly indicate data integration solution designs and implementations.
- Agile experience
- Financial Services / Banking experience
- Build & Release orchestration tools
- Experience in working with larger projects involving multiple groups including nearshore and offshore teams
- Performance Tuning experience
- Strong SQL knowledge and ability to develop Informatica repository queries
- Strong experience with server updates and cloud migration
- Proficiency in data visualization tools and programming languages (SQL)

Pay Details: $65.00 to $67.00 per hour
