Insight Global is looking for an Event and Planning Manager to join a Telcom Retailer in Plano, TX. This person will be responsible for planning and installing marketing and customer experience pop-ups, corporate events, conferences, and more. You will own the end to end process from cradle to grave of the event and be expected to run it and support it when needed. The primary function of the Events Strategy and Planning Manager is to oversee the planning, execution and evaluation of Touch Marketing events to ensure alignment with the organizations goals and objectives. In addition, the Events Strategy and Planning Manager is responsible for, event selection support, creating and sharing communication plans and creating planograms and floorplans that support Samsung strategy and align to event theme and experience execution. Partnering closely with cross-functional internal and external stakeholders, this position champions Samsungs Customer Journey to create customer experiences that translate into brand loyalty, awareness, engagement and sales. In addition, the Events Strategy and Planning Manager will develop and present merchandising solutions in assigned channels in relation to key product launches and promotional periods.

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor's Degree with 8-10+ years experience preferably in events planning, visual merchandising, or project management
Experience in strategic event planning aligned with organizational goals
Ability to assess event success and ROI, with experience in post-event reporting and analysis
Leading cross-functional teams in retail merchandising strategies
Experience building relationships with key internal and external cross-functional partners
Experience working with a variety of vendors and suppliers
Experience leading and managing a team of event coordinators or planners
Visual Merchandising, and Retail Operation experiences in corporate environment desired
Strong aesthetic, visual design, communication and presentation skills
Must have demonstrable experience in developing presentations using a variety of PC applications, including Word processing, Excel, and PowerPoint
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience with Brand Launches
Experience creating customer experience concepts
Experience with planning pop-ups
