The CHRB is hiring a Staff Services Manager I (Specialist) position performing specialized analytical tasks associated with addressing public record act requests, serving as the public point of contact, coordinating external communication, preparing statistics and written reports, providing analytical review and editing of documents on the intanet and external website, responsibility for the State Leadership Accountability Act (SLAA) reporting, and other duties as required. The position reports directly to the Deputy Executive Director and further requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality of sensitive issues and information.

Working Conditions
The incumbent works in a typical office environment, using one or more personal computers.
This position is eligible for a hybrid telework schedule with available headquarters office locations in Sacramento (HQ), Arcadia (Santa Anita Parkway), or Cypress (Los Alamitos Race Course), California.

Special Requirements
