The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Customer Experience organization is looking for an Executive Assistant to join the Utility Computing Org. This exciting position requires high levels of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information and professionalism whilst dealing with senior professionals both inside and outside the company. The successful candidate will require high attention to detail, bias for action, detailed planning, and strong organizational skills.

You will communicate well and be able to take swift, effective action whilst proactively solving complex problems with little or no guidance. You will work successfully within a team environment, build effective working relationships, maintain a comprehensive awareness of the organization and become the "go-to" person for support activities.

AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations - from foundational services such as Amazon's Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWS's services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization, you'll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (Iot), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS, including support for customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.

Key job responsibilities

• Manage complex calendar and scheduling requirements

• Provide seamless support to senior leaders using prioritization of business activities

• Travel coordination (both domestic and international) and expense reporting

• Track and help drive completion of key deliverables and follow up on outstanding items

• Drive key team activities (such as staff meeting agendas, all hands meetings, supply ordering, and cyclical events such as annual planning sessions and performance reviews)

• Work with other assistants throughout AWS

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of senior level leadership support, or 1+ years of Amazon experience

- Experience with executive level calendar management

- Experience with domestic or international travel coordination

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 4+ years of senior level leadership support experience

- Experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company

- Experience managing multiple calendars

- Experience with end-to-end project management

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $47,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $107,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
