This is a highly responsible position that reports directly to the Tulane University Medical Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO)). Manages all aspects of the day- to-day operations of the CEO including administrative and clerical duties in support of the office. Responsible for ensuring access and communication between the Chief Executive Officer and the campus community. Represents the Chief Executive Officer and the TUMG Leadership Team on campus and with external constituencies. Works directly with the Chief Executive Officer, the TUMG Leadership Team and appropriate staff as project manager as needed. Work independently during extended travel and absences of the CEO. Supervises the Administrative Assistant on day-to-day basis including delegating assignments. Other special projects as assigned.
• Great interpersonal skills; ability to interact professionally with both internal and external contacts. (Physicians, colleagues, vendors and patients). Excellent training skills; ability to convey information clearly and concisely.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality in all work performed.

• Highly proficient computer skills; ability to use various applications and software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Zoom, etc.

• Skilled in developing analytics, reporting and presentations.

• Ability to work independently in the accomplishment of assigned tasks; ability to organize and prioritize work effectively; and the ability to meet established deadlines.

• Tactful and professional interpersonal relationships with others; excellent supervisory skills. 

• Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet established deadlines.

• Ability to independently establish priorities and coordinate special projects for the CEO.


• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Five (5) years' directly related experience


• Bachelor's Degree and five or more years directly related experience.

• Previous Experience working in a Clinical/administrative environment preferred.

• Project management experience desirable.
