JOB PURPOSE:
Responsible for leading and managing a comprehensive array of clinical and/or non-clinical services and programs. Constructs strategies, sets goals/targets/metrics and develops leaders for aforementioned departments and divisions. Carries responsibility for integrating the strategic plan of the organization with the operations of assigned areas.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Creates and implements goals and objectives for assigned areas.
2. Responsible for preparation, development, and implementation of budgets for assigned areas.
3. Participates with the executive and management team, medical staff and clinical leaders in the organizations decision-making structures and processes. Supports organizational change initiatives by assisting staff in understanding organizational objectives and the changing healthcare environment.
4. Identifies and develops new and additional services/revenue streams as appropriate.
5. Provides effective management and guidance for all assigned areas.
6. Serves as a champion for PHC in the local community.

Skill and ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.

Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field required.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Ten (10) years of progressively responsible operations experience including five (5) years of management level experience in a large organization, preferably in a healthcare setting or a closely related field.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Masters degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
