As the Executive Director of R&D, Patterning, you will lead advanced lithography research and development endeavors, positioning yourself at the forefront of innovation in the semiconductor industry. In this pivotal role, you will drive the strategic planning, development, and implementation of cutting-edge lithography programs, carefully aligning them with our customer technology roadmaps and the long-term aspirations of our Patterning business. You will cultivate and expand a robust network across the semiconductor industry, building strong relationships with global partners, leading academic institutions, and key customers to deepen collaboration and strengthen our market position. You will steer new product developments from conception to market launch, working closely with business managers and cross-functional teams. Financial acumen will be necessary as build and manage the R&D budget, ensuring investments align with and support our broader business objectives while maximizing return on investment. Additionally, you will develop and manage intellectual property strategies to protect innovations and maintain our competitive edge. As a visible representative of the company at various international and national technical conferences, you will keep us at the cutting edge of industry trends and technological advancements. You will promote stringent adherence to safety protocols within the R&D team, champion phase-gate methodologies to bolster R&D efficiency, and utilize your expertise in analytical and physical chemistry to enhance product processes. Your project management skills will ensure timely and budget-conscious delivery of R&D projects, leveraging design of experiments to refine development activities. Your engagement with the latest semiconductor technologies will ensure that our R&D efforts are on the cutting edge, maintaining our leadership in the industry. Who you are: Minimum Requirements:You have a PhD in Chemistry and related areas, with backgrounds in synthetic chemistry and materials characterization You have a minimum of 10 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, focusing on formulations development and particle analysisYou have demonstrated a track record of technical achievement, including patents and publicationsYou have demonstrated the ability to work within a complex matrix environment and manage global teams with multiple culturesYou are known for your inspirational leadership skills, with the ability to energize and lead your team
