The role you'll contribute:

The Executive Director Organizational Effectiveness is responsible for developing and implementing Succession Planning, Team Member Experience, Performance Management, and People Insights, Transformation and Integration strategies for AdventHealth. The Organization Effectiveness Center of Expertise designs and executes programs and initiatives in partnership with AdventHealth market human resources leaders. Through effective leadership of these areas, Executive Director OE supports the improvement of organizational performance, team member retention and team member experience.

  • Provides strategic direction for the Organizational Effectiveness Center of Expertise in the creation of organizational effectiveness, culture, engagement, performance, analytics strategies, programs, models, tools, methodologies, policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Leads performance planning and performance management strategies, tools and resources
  • Responsible for succession planning design and systemwide execution
  • Partners with stakeholders across the organization to understand business strategy and forecast team member competency needs
  • Leads skills identification, partnering with the Learnings teams on a skills-based workforce strategy
  • Partners closely with the Learning teams to integrate programs each team leads and develops
  • Creates system-wide succession plans and partners with the Leadership Institute on leader development
  • Leads cross functional teams supporting improvement projects using agile methodology
  • Leads organizational efforts to build a strong transformation and integration function
  • Mergers & Acquisitions integration initiatives
  • Policy changes and other integration work
  • Organization design tools
  • Change management supporting transformation and integration work
  • Ensures development of team member engagement and retention strategies that align with business strategy
  • Leads the design and execution of full lifecycle team member and leader experience, in partnership with market human resources leaders, other centers of expertise and shared services
  • Leads the design and execution of a mission-focused team member experience
  • Partners with HRIS to enhance analytics capability for the organization to support people insights for leaders, workforce dashboards, and HR scorecard
  • Oversees the design and implementation of team member engagement survey, and related action planning strategies
  • Drives policy enhancements and policy additions based on industry trends and best practices
  • Partners with HRBPs, Strategic HR, and HR Shared Services to foster a team environment promoting open communication
  • Oversees the preparation of materials for board meetings, compliance audits, and other venues
  • Leads the implementation of Organization Transformation processes as they relate to People, including establishing system-wide processes and policies
  • Leads in addressing complex organizational opportunities that involve people, partnering with all aspects of the business. Brings together change management, policy solutions, and organization design resources to implement and embed organization changes.


Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed :

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Business, Human Resources, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum of ten years of experience in organizational effectiveness or organization transformation
  • Minimum of five years of managerial experience as an HR professional
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities within a corporate environment
  • Demonstrated experience in developing corporate HR policy, surveying team member engagement, and developing programs to increase retention


LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, OR REGISTRATION PREFERRED:
  • Certification in Organization Development, change management or similar fields preferred. Examples include Institute of Organization Development Certificate Program (ODCP), Organization Development Consultant Certification Program (ODCC, Association of Talent Development certification programs.
