Description

The Executive Director of Parking and Transportation Services will serve as the functional leader and primary administrator in charge of the University of Houston Parking and Transportation Services.

1. Direct oversight and management of the daily activities related to Parking and Transportation Services.
2. Formulates and adheres to strict budgets.
3. Responsible for strategic planning and rate setting.
4. Develops policies and procedures to ensure a consistent and efficient operation.
5. Responsible for contract management, compliance and oversight.
6. Responsible for managing capital repair and renewal of parking structures.
7. Serves as departmental point of contact for daily interactions and coordination with departmental stakeholders.
8. Responsible for the coordination of the Transportation and Parking Advisory Committee (TPAC).
9. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Masters and 7 years experience

Experience: Requires application of advanced principles, techniques and theory in a professional discipline or a thorough general business management knowledge. Knowledge of this level is typically obtained through a directly job-related Master's degree or equivalent formal training in a recognized field of specialization that is directly related to the type of work being performed. Education: Requires a minimum of seven (7) years of directly job-related experience. Certification/Licensing: Requires a valid Texas driver's license.
