Job Overview

An Executive Office/Engineering Coordinator will be responsible for the hotel's Executive Office and the Engineering department. They must be detail oriented, able to handle multiple tasks, and have good organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.

Duties as an Executive Coordinator for the General Manager include:

• Assisting with analyzing data, writing reports, and developing strategic plans.

• Maintaining calendars/meeting schedules and travel arrangements.

• Handling customer satisfaction inquiries, related correspondence and communication.

• Various other administrative duties supporting the Managing Committee Members.

Duties as an Engineering Coordinator include:

• Payroll-processing, timecard monitoring, and updating weekly schedules for the team.

• Managing the department's accounting processes including checkbook management, invoicing, payment requests, receiving, and month end accounting.

• Scheduling hotel maintenance vendors.

• Creating and updating vendor contracts.

• Assisting with Capital Expenditure projects.

• Handling customer satisfaction inquiries, related correspondence and communication.

• Maintaining the department's inventory, office supplies, managing purchase orders.

Wage Information:

The salary range for this position is $21.00 to $27.30. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, including experience, qualifications and education.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalency preferred.
  • Higher level of training preferred.
  • Strong Analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer proficiency and excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to follow all safety procedures/standards and are able to recognize and act in emergency situations.
