Position Overview

Are you a detail-oriented and proactive individual with a strong grasp of intelligence community (IC) processes and procedures? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for supporting cutting-edge technological initiatives? We are seeking an Executive Officer to play a pivotal role in supporting our team. As the Executive Officer, you will collaborate closely with key stakeholders and contribute to the success of our program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Emerging Tech Campaign within the specialized program, working closely with 3 co-leads representing CIA, NSA, and NGIC.
  • Utilize and navigate common IC sharing applications and messaging platforms, such as Skype, RocketChat, etc.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel, to effectively manage and analyze program-related data.
  • Familiarity with IC-wide funding procedures (UFR, MIPR) and sources (CiaP, MIP), ensuring accurate financial tracking and reporting.
  • Independently gather project and program requirements, efficiently organize, track, and communicate these requirements.
  • Attend weekly synchronization meetings via Skype to provide updates and ensure alignment across stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and manage events, overseeing logistics for 3-4 annual events with 100-150 participants each.
  • Maintain a comprehensive awareness of funding status and milestones for approximately 20 programs within the campaign.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with the project management office to ensure timely and accurate delivery of project outcomes.


Required Skills

  • Active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong familiarity with intelligence community processes and procedures.
  • Proficiency in using various IC sharing applications and messaging platforms.
  • Demonstrated competency in MS Office, particularly Excel, for data management and analysis.
  • Knowledge of IC-wide funding procedures (UFR, MIPR) and sources (CiaP, MIP) preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a proactive approach to project and requirement tracking.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to attend weekly synchronization meetings via Skype.
  • Experience in event coordination, managing logistics, and ensuring successful outcomes.
  • Ability to maintain awareness of funding status and milestones for multiple programs simultaneously.
  • Collaborative mindset with the capability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
